Drone footage shows extent of flooding in Washington state

At least one person has died after a car was “completely submerged in water” following a second round of heavy rain and flooding in Washington state.

This renewed rainfall comes in the heels of last week’s historic flooding. Levee failures have also prompted more evacuations.

Moderate to heavy rain is expected to continue moving through Washington, according to the National Weather Service.
