MAP: See the states where marijuana is legal

President Trump’s executive order fast-tracking the reclassification of marijuana will not make the drug legal nationwide. But in several states, that is already the case.

Nationwide, 24 states, three territories and Washington, D.C., have legalized marijuana for recreational use, while 40 states and one more territory allow medical marijuana.
