&Partners Adds Upstate New York Father-Son Team From Wells Fargo

&Partners, a St. Louis-based hybrid broker/dealer launched by David Kowach, the former president and CEO of Wells Fargo Advisors, has added Curley Wealth Management, an Oneonta, N.Y.-based practice with about $500 million in pre-hire assets under management. The team was previously with Wells Fargo Advisors.

Curley Wealth Management is led by father and son Ed and Corbin Curley. Ed Curley was a long-time Wells Fargo veteran, having started his career with A.G. Edwards, which eventually became part of the wirehouse, in 1991. Corbin Curley started his career at Wells Fargo 10 years ago.

They’re joined by Jody Angellotti, senior financial consultant, and Lisa Wells, senior client associate.

Curley provides financial planning, tax-efficient strategies, estate planning coordination, and insurance and risk management.

Kowach co-founded &Partners in 2023 along with Kristi Mitchem, one of Wealth Management’s Ten to Watch in 2026, and John Alexander.

Before Wells Fargo, Kowach grew up professionally at Wheat First Securities, a storied brokerage firm known in the 1990s for its small, boutique culture. The three co-founders felt a calling to create that type of company in the market again, but with better technology, white-glove service and a more robust investment platform.

&Partners now has over 100 advisor practices across $50 billion in pre-hire assets and $350 million in revenue. About 40% of those teams are led by women. It recruited about 44 teams in 2025 from a diverse range of firms, including Wells Fargo, Commonwealth Financial Network, Edward Jones and Merrill Lynch. Revenue has grown by 179% year-over-year, while AUM has doubled since the end of 2024.
