Why did Trump chicken out in Greenland row? | The Latest

The US president has backed down in the row over Greenland after threatening Europe with tariffs and the potential use of military force. After talks with the Nato secretary general, Mark Rutte, Donald Trump said the ‘framework of a future deal’ had been agreed for the territory to allow the US to build its military presence there.
