Advisor Wins Award for Disability Employment Venture

Justin Elder of Cetera Financial Specialists in Naperville, Ill., was named as the recipient of the 2025 Invest in Others Emerging Impact Award for his involvement with Moose & Me Baking Company. 

Inspired by his two daughters with Down Syndrome, Justin founded Moose & Me Baking Company to provide meaningful employment for adults with disabilities. Many individuals in this community face barriers to finding stable, fulfilling jobs that allow them to contribute their skills and talents. The non-profit currently employs 13 part-time employees who have an intellectual or developmental disabilities and had approximately 9,000 total sales in 2024.
