Watch: Nasa research equipment lands on Texas farm

A Nasa research probe crash-landed in a Texas farmyard after it was blown off course on 2 October.

After descending onto Ann and Hayden Walter’s farm in Edmonson, the family called the local sheriff’s department.

‘They thanked me for informing them because a Nasa team was already trying to locate and retrieve their equipment’, she wrote on Facebook. ‘I was blown away by the comment’.

The space probe had originally launched from the Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility in New Mexico.
