James Clements, who has served as chief compliance officer for Carson Group since July 2020, has left the firm to join CreativeOne Securities, an independent broker/dealer in Overland Park, Kan. Jeff Eisenbauer was serving as president, CEO and CCO of CreativeOne.

CreativeOne was launched in 1984 as a life brokerage, Creative Marketing, and went on to create new annuities for national insurance companies. The firm now operates an independent marketing organization, broker/dealer and registered investment advisor. The RIA has about $6 billion in total assets.

“What I have already learned about CreativeOne Securities is that representatives are never just another number in the system,” Clements wrote in a LinkedIn post. “They are a true partner. Our platform is built for real independence, the kind that lets you serve your clients your way, without pressure to push proprietary or pre-packaged products.”
