Macquarie Expands Wealth Team
Macquarie Asset Management has expanded its wealth team with three new additions.
The announced moves include naming Crista Demasi as head of its U.S. strategic relationships group; Debra Probst as global head of wealth channel marketing; and Danielle Hickey as director of platform development, private markets solutions.
In addition to the hires, Macquarie announced a partnership with iCapital to offer access to the firm’s private infrastructure investment opportunities.
Demasi will focus on client engagement around Macquarie Asset Management’s private infrastructure and energy capabilities, encompassing both equity and debt. She joins Macquarie from Invesco, where she served as head of strategic accounts for the wires and global banks.
Probst comes to Macquarie from PGIM Investments, most recently serving as the global head of client marketing. Hickey joins from Nuveen, where she led private market solutions marketing and broadened syndication across broker/dealers, RIAs, banks and fintech platforms.
Macquarie is among the group of asset managers that have traditionally focused on institutional clients that are now targeting the wealth channel. Kimberly LaPointe, who joined the firm in 2024 as senior managing director and head of wealth distribution, has led those efforts.
